Sample Itineraries

5-Day Murchison Falls Safari

Day 1: Kampala to Paraa

Morning pick up from your hotel in Kampala. Drive through Uganda's beautiful green undulating countryside to Masindi for lunch. Proceed to the Nile with game viewing en-route. Take a ferry trip to Paraa where you arrive in the mid afternoon. Dinner and overnight in the lodge. Full board.

Day 2: Paraa to Murchison Falls

Breakfast in your lodge then drive to Murchison Falls - described by Churchill as being like Regent's Park Zoo and Kew Gardens combined. Pass by hippo pods, crocs, birds, and butterflies. The Victoria Nile bursts majestically through a 6-meter gap in a 40-meter drop. Afternoon game drives to see Uganda Kob, elephant, lion, giraffe, Shoebill stork, and eagles. Dinner and overnight in lodge. Full board.

Day 3: Murchison Falls

Wake at 6:00am for early morning game drives and watch the beautiful sunrise. Back to lodge for breakfast at 9:00am, followed by the awesome view of the falls from the top - experience the massive rush of water at close quarters, walking down to the base of the falls. Afternoon relax at leisure in the lodge. Full board.

Day 4: Budongo Tropical Forest

Breakfast followed by primate tracking in Budongo - Uganda's largest tropical hardwood forest - home to a vast abundance of wildlife, birds, butterflies, Colobus monkeys, Red Tailed primates, and chimpanzees. This guided forest walk is an amazing way to experience Uganda's wildlife riches. Rest and relax in the afternoon. Full board.

Day 5: Masindi to Kampala

After breakfast, checkout from your lodge and proceed to Masindi for lunch. After lunch, drive back to Kampala. End of safari.


8-Day Gorillas, Queen Elizabeth & Kibale

Day 1: Kampala to Bwindi, Gorilla Land

Early morning departure at 6:00am from Kampala with packed lunch. Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest or Mgahinga Gorilla National Park via Mbarara. Arrive at the gorilla reserve in time for dinner and overnight in tented camp. Full board.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking Day

Breakfast in camp followed by walking through the dense forest to meet a whole family of gorillas. Your guide will advise on time to spend watching gorillas, time for your picnic lunch, and time to return to camp. Dinner and overnight in tented camp. Full board.

Day 3: Forest & Village Walk

Breakfast followed by a day's walk through the forest and local villages. Picnic lunch in the field. Dinner and overnight in tented camp. Full board.

Day 4: Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth NP

After breakfast, take a short morning walk, then checkout and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park for lunch. Afternoon relax at leisure at the lodge. Full board.

Days 5 & 6: Queen Elizabeth Park

Two full days of morning and afternoon game drives. Look for lion, elephant, buffalo, bushbuck, Uganda Kob, and giant forest hog. Visit Kazinga Channel to see scores of hippos, buffalo near the waterside, and the rare leopard. Full board both days.

Day 7: Queen Elizabeth to Kibale Forest

After breakfast, drive to Kibale Forest National Park - famous for its 12 species of primates and one of the highest primate densities in the world. Half-day guided walk to explore chimps and red colobus monkeys chattering and swinging through the canopy. Dinner and overnight in lodge. Full board.

Day 8: Kibale to Kampala

After breakfast, drive through Hoima back to Kampala. End of safari.
